How can two styles sound so wild and wonderful in their own ways? We’ll listen\, compare\, and explore! Campers will design and build their own instruments\, experiment with rhythm and beats. They will learn how music can be fast\, slow\, loud\, soft\, and everything in between. What is classical music? What makes punk music so different? Which one is your favourite? \n\n\n\nThis week also features some incredible special guests\, including the amazing cellist Trina Nadeau and special guests from the punk band Stand Against Fear. Campers will learn what it’s like to be a real musician\, talk about what makes a great band name\, and discover how music can express feelings\, stories\, and big ideas.By the end of the week\, we’ll be rocking out\, making noise\, laughing lots\, and celebrating creativity through sound. Coats\, sweaters\, shirts\, pants\, socks\, underwear\, hats\, mittens\, gloves\, shoes\, and boots are items often available in the Wilmot Clothing Cupboard.* We are able to provide this program due to generous donations from members of our communities. *Availability is subject to change. \n\n\n\nThe Wilmot Clothing Cupboard location is in New Hamburg and is available by appointment on Wednesdays between 2-4pm.
