Summer Camp – Colour Chaos
July 9 @ 8:15 am – 5:00 pm
Join us for Colour Chaos Week and learn from artist Sonia Nadeau, an award-winning children’s book illustrator! This week is all about exploring the magic of colour and having a blast while being creative.
We’ll start by painting a beautiful sunset, experimenting with different techniques and textures to bring our art to life. Next, we’ll dive into messy, playful art projects where there are no mistakes—only fun and creativity.
Along the way, we’ll explore colourful science and STEM activities, discovering how colours mix, move, and interact in exciting experiments.
We’ll also learn about the iconic Australian artist Jackson Pollock, studying his unique style and creating bold, expressive art inspired by his famous drip paintings.
To wrap up the week, everyone will get hands-on with a tie-dye activity, transforming plain white t-shirts (or item of your choice) into colourful works of art—so don’t forget to bring your own item to tie dye! Colour Chaos is perfect for children who love to explore, create, and have fun.
